CHABLIS PREMIER CRU MONT DE MILIEU
Located on the southern border of the Grand Cru Chablis, the vineyards are situated on the right bank of the Serein, giving southern exposure for excellent ripening. This Premier Cru is one of the most well known from Chablis and is one of the excellent range of wines produced by Nathalie and Gilles.
Lovely golden yellow colors, it has an elegant and discreet nose. In the mouth, the combination of richness and minerality, gives a wine of great finesse and style.
VARIETY: Chardonnay
DENSITY: 5 700 grape-plants / ha
SOIL: Kimmeridgien limestone with lot of chalk.
SURFACE: 1/2 hectare, in the south exposure.
VINIFICATION: Vinification and ageing on fine lees during 12 months (minimum) : for 15% in oak and the rest in air-conditioned stainless steel tanks. Bottling and storage in air-conditioned cellar before shipping.
